World leaders meeting in New York to talk about saving the world

The Copenhagen conference is getting closer and closer. Kyoto couldn't do enough. Will Copenhagen help change the world for the better? While a lot is being said and talked about, we'll have to wait and see what major decisions are taken there.

But before that, many world leaders are meeting in New York and Pittsburgh this week. There should have been more of these meetings. Such meetings are important and crucial, since there are literally thousands of issues to discuss and solve. There are all kinds of small and large issues. Will the US cut its emissions? What about China and India? What will happen to those small countries which are losing land?

All that reminds me of Japan's new Prime Minister, Mr Hatoyama. He's promised to cut Japan's carbon emission by 25% by 2020. I'm looking forward to seeing what he will bring to the table. And.. Hello, President Obama?!!

(More on this later on, as I have to leave right now.)
